If a tree falls when nobody is around
in a forest, desolate and dark
did it make a sound?

Used to be skybound.
Will it leave a mark,
if a tree falls when nobody is around?

The remains in mounds, scattered across the ground
Once alive, contrast stark
Did it make a sound?

There's meaning to be found
buried under bark.
If a tree falls when nobody is around
did it make a sound?
