Welcome to Steph’s Stack. I am delighted that you are taking time out of your day to be here!
This month, I have been pouring all of my energy into love. Love for myself. Love for family. Love for friends. Love for strangers. Love for people who have been unloving towards me. In practice, this looks like eating whole foods, moving my body, waving “hello” to people on the street, rekindling old friendships, saying kind things to people who have said cruel things to me. It is not always easy. Usually, I’d rather eat processed food, look the other way, or say something snippy. In the moment, I have to pause and remind myself to “lead with love.” How have you shown love for yourself or others this month?
Always remember- you are whole and worthy of unconditional love.

“Think about it. He anticipates your needs, foresees your movements, keeps you safe from dangers. He spends his life imagining your needs, thinking about what you can’t see. Maybe he’s tired. Always caring for others.”
On the surface, the movie is asking “Did Sandra kill Samuel or did Samuel commit suicide?” When you dig deeper, you see that the movie is asking “How did Sandra directly and indirectly contribute to Samuel’s death?” It’s less of a typical “whodunnit” case and more of a reflection of a failed marriage.

Quote
“We begin our love lives with the idea that we should give the (metaphorical) one hundred dollars to one person- our partner- or to a few- our family. But, in the fourth stage of life we change our approach. We start handing out single dollar bills to many people. The more we can give, the better, but we start small, and over time grow our capacity to give love. The way you perfect love is not by waiting to find it or have it, but by creating it with everyone, all the time. This is what I've been waiting to tell you- it’s the greatest gift that love has to offer.”
This book is framed in the context of romantic love, but I found the wisdom useful for all types of love. Jay Shetty has a concise way of communicating complex ideas.
